Nine Tone Scales

The Nine Tone Scale is somewhat uncommon with its nine notes. It reminds a little of the Augmented Scale, and we can see a similarity comparing C Augmented Scale and C Nine Tone Scale, which both include Eb and G#.

Because of the many notes that are included, there are numerous possibilities to play chords over these scales. One of the music style that have absorbed Nine Tone scales is jazz.
