Scales source and guide for musicians
This speed trainer is designed to help practice scales with gradually increasing tempo. The scale tones are highlighted on the keyboard and also the recommended fingerings directly below the keys.
Using the tempo levels, you can start slowly and focus on accuracy before increasing speed step by step. The built-in metronome keeps a steady pulse, making it easier to develop rhythmic stability and muscle memory. An optional key animation can be enabled to visually indicate one note at a time in sync with the beat. This is intended as a visual guide for timing and note order, not as a replacement for reading or listening.
Finger numbers follow the standard piano fingering system.
Left hand:
5: little finger
4: ring finger
3: middle finger
2: index finger
1: thumb
Right hand:
1: thumb
2: index finger
3: middle finger
4: ring finger
5: little finger
Although the numbers are the same for both hands, they always refer to the same fingers, not mirrored positions.
